Guess where we've been?
Yesterday we (my husband, 4 kids, and I) spent nine hours on airplanes/in airports coming back from one of the most interesting places in the world. I'm BEAT, but very inspired.
I'm also already missing the beignets and gumbo.
Have you ever been to Louisiana?

I would love to go there, so much history, and every time I see pictures from there it seems like a place I could write a awesome novel, especilly if I toured the grave yards, awesome pics and glad you were inspired, sometimes as writers we need different settings to kick start our muse.
No. But I have been to New Orleans Square at Disneyland. Does that count?
Glad you had a great trip! Get some rest. xo
No, but it's a dream of mine. I'm jealous!! :-)
I haven't, but it looks really beautiful!
Wow, does that ever bring back memories...from this summer! I have to share my Nola posts with you! Watch your inbox. :)
I want to go! What a wonderful day! It look so beautiful.
OOh, it looks incredible! I'd guessed Florida, because of the castle (thought it was Disney world) and the alligator. Louisiana makes sense too, obviously! I'd loooove to go there! I'm glad you had an awesome holiday :)
How fun! I love NOLA, and Southern Louisiana is my favorite place in all the world. The music, the food, the culture, the natural beauty. I could gush for hours.
I've been twice. Once with my ex-husband's company and once on a college business trip. My (now) husband has never been and I'd love to take him. I think it's beautiful...almost as beautiful as my favorite place on earth...Savannah, Georgia.
BTW...the beignets are to die for!
Fun! I hope to go there someday. Glad you had a good trip! :)
Oh, yes, been there several times. One of my favorite places--so much atmosphere, music and food to relish. Glad you had a great time!
No, but I certainly hope to see it someday. Glad you had a great time! Don't know how you managed the airport/airplane with 4 young ones. You're amazing. No wonder you're tired!
I've been there!! Glad you had fun!!
I'm a graduate of LSU (Baton Rouge), my parents lived in New Orleans (West Bank), I've been to two Mardi Gras, and a lot of my family still live in the state. Yes...I know Louisiana! :)
Louisiana looks awesome! Were you really that close to that aligator? Terrified!
